In a workshop held
yesterday in Asharqia Chamber.
Specialized Manufacturers stressed the
importance of the application of quality systems in general on all industrial
production processes as a necessity to improve the productivity in the national
factories, noting the need for concerted all factors to cooperate to achieve
this goal, as the factor for a better profitability.
They
said in a workshop titled (raising the level of productivity in factories)
organized by the Industrial Committee of Asharqia Chamber on Sunday, March 19, 2017, that the quality
achieves the productivity of factories, productivity achieves the
competitiveness in local and international markets.
Head
of the Industrial Committee Abdullah bin Ali Al Sanea noted in the working paper titled (to
improve production and reduce costs), the importance of automation in many stages
of production, and reducing dependence on human factors,
is one of the necessities of increasing production. He
pointed to the possible automation fields, which includes the collection,
compilation and loading products and packaging.
Al Sanea stressed that productivity in the
factory as well as through the improvement of the production environment,
through the application of a number of creative ideas in the production processes.
Director
General of Al Raqtan group for trade and industry Muthana Abdulaziz Al Raqtan
said that productivity to improve must gain
the quality, and quality is a system for measuring the contrast with the
standard to achieve homogeneity in production would be satisfactory to the end
consumer, and this can only be achieved taking into account the achievement of
certain standards of the product It
is achieved through attention to all stages of production, not a stage without
the other.
Therefore
Al Raqtan thinks that the culture of
quality, is emphasized by the Islamic law, as in the hadith which says that God
loves when one of you is making something to do it well», stressing that
quality in this sense, is management, a need
rather than a choice, and investment and not the
cost, and the system of work and not a project begins and ends, a comprehensive
and not limited particular action.
Al
Raqtan said that the quality as a continuous struggle to bring the best
to the beneficiary, and the beauty is embodied with the quality in industrial
production lies in the simplicity of procedures, not complicating it.
For
his part, Maher bin Habib Al Muqabkab of
Modern Industries Company (P & G) talked about the production of the term of the
desired improvement in the national factories and said that productivity is a
measurement of the efficiency of people and machines and factory systems and
other in converting elements into
useful high quality results, explaining that productivity
is calculated by dividing the resulting rate
of the total cost of the consuming resources (assets, energy, materials and individuals) during a certain period,
productivity is an important indicator of the efficiency of the cost.
He
said that there are forms of waste leading to poor productivity, including:
overproduction, and the presence of ineffective
human resources, and over treatment and processing, and the presence of a
defective product, and so on.
For
his part, the supply chain and logistics manager (ABB Saudi Ltd) and the Walaa Fayad Barghala said that the top of his
experience of the company is to rely on meeting the customer demands, which
contributed to improving the productivity of the company.
In
